Julian Electric completes new headquarters


LOCKPORT, IL – Julian Electric completed construction on a new 195,000 sq ft headquarters and U.S Manufacturing facility in Lockport, IL.  All operations and personnel were officially moved into the new facility in May 2017.

The building includes 155,000 sq ft of production & warehouse space, 20,000 sq ft of office and a 20,000 sq ft mezzanine for future office expansion.

WESTMONT, IL – Julian Electric has confirmed that it will be relocating its corporate headquarters to Lockport, Illinois, after 40 years in Westmont.

The electrical device manufacturer acquired 19 acres of land from ML Realty Partners in Heritage Crossing corporate park, near I-355 and 143rd Street in Lockport.

Julian Electric will be constructing a 175,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art global headquarters and manufacturing facility. The new facility will immediately accommodate 300 employees while the company targets its aggressive growth plan to vastly expand its team. The building will be expandable to more than 300,000 square feet and will include over 15,000 square feet of office space as well as parking to accommodate over 400 employees.

After a multi-state search evaluating various opportunities over several years, Julian Electric executives agreed Heritage Crossing was the best fit for its firm to continue its renowned service and accommodate its future growth.

“Relocating to Heritage Crossing in Lockport was a clear decision and will provide us with a prominent address within a corporate setting,” Kenny Julian, Co-President at Julian Electric, stated. “Officials in Will County and the City of Lockport were extremely helpful and welcoming. The multi-year incentive package provided by the County and City will be essential in assisting us to turn this consolidation into a reality and a long-term home for our firm.”

Julian Electric receives Navistar Diamond Supplier Award


WESTMONT, IL – Julian Electric Inc. announced today that is among an elite group of 33 suppliers to earn a Diamond Supplier Award from Navistar for its performance during 2015. Julian Electric Inc. Co-President John Julian and Julian Electric de México General Manager Alfredo Rojas accepted the award during ceremonies at Navistar headquarters in Lisle, IL on Thursday, February 11, 2016.

This select group of companies, which represents the top two percent of the company’s supply base, helped Navistar improve customer uptime and exceeded the performance expectations for quality, delivery, technology, and cost.

WESTMONT, IL – Julian Electric Inc. received its 19 th DTNA Masters of Quality Award this week. Daimler Trucks North America procures components from over 1200 suppliers around the world. For the year 2014, Julian Electric Inc. was selected as one of 91 suppliers who fulfill all high standards of the Masters of Quality Award. The selection was based on various key performance indicators such as delivery reliability, pricing, quality, aftermarket, invoicing, service, guarantee, and technical support. Only one supplier to DTNA has received this prestigious award more than Julian Electric.

SALTILLO, Coahuila, Mexico – Julian Electric de México received its 4 th consecutive DTNA Masters of Quality Award during a ceremony at the plant in Saltillo. Co-President Kenny Julian and General Manager Alfredo Rojas accepted the award on behalf of JE de México’s 180 employees. The Masters of Quality Award is presented to only the top performing suppliers to Daimler Trucks North America based on delivery, pricing, quality, aftermarket, invoicing, service, guarantee and technical support. Julian Electric de México completes latest facility expansion


SALTILLO, Coahuila, Mexico – Julian Electric de México completed a 30,000 sq ft expansion to its manufacturing facility in Saltillo. The plant now totals 120,000 sq. ft. and includes 180 employees producing battery cables and wiring harnesses for the heavy truck, automotive, construction & agricultural equipment and bus industries.
