Supply Chain Engineer

The Supply Chain Engineer is responsible for ensuring operating policies for managing all phases of customer service, production scheduling/control and inventory control by applying lean methodologies.

  1.  Provide direction and oversight of customer experience improvements.
  2.  Plan and implement material flow management systems to meet production requirements and anticipates customer requirements.
  3.  Ability to analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routings.
  4.  Establish direction on information management systems and work effectively with the other departments to improve current processes and information management systems.
  5.  Drive 100% on time delivery to the customer as well as internally.
  6.  Develop and implement policies and procedures for customer service activities in compliance with all company policies and local regulatory and governing bodies’ rules and regulations.
  7.   Receive and enter data for incoming orders for our products. Interact with customers throughout the order via phone and email, production and delivery process; coordinating across department lines to ensure the order is accurately entered, scheduled, assembled and delivered.
  8.  Make any necessary revisions to orders, communicate with Engineering and/or Quality departments if a drawing or file needs to be updated.
  9.  Communicates with customers on complaints, problems or concerns. May refer customer complaints relating to quality or production to appropriate management.
  10.  Have the ability to cover any customer service representative in the event that they are out of the office for any period of time. This includes having basic knowledge of several customer specific requirements.
  11.  Ability to measure staff productivity and make recommendations to improve the processes and procedures as they relate to the customer service/logistics department.
